How Diabetics Can Maintain A Healthier Lifestyle

Many adults that are diagnosed with diabetes have type 2 diabetes. Unfortunately, today, children are also being diagnosed with the disease, usually type 1.

As of now, there is no easy cure for diabetes. The best way to overcome conflicts caused by diabetes and things that can cause diabetes is by simply taking good care of your body. Taking care of your body means eating low amounts of sugar each day, taking in enough fibre, eating foods that are low in carbohydrates, and many other things that help your body stay healthy. It is also important to exercise each day.

on in life such as heart disease…

ailments that may cause organs to

People who have diabetes are at a much higher risk of having a stroke or heart attack.

The American Diabetes Association together recommends that anyone not diagnosed with diabetes maintains a blood sugar level that does not go above 70-120. However, if you do have diabetes, the association recommends that a fasting blood sugar level should be at about 130.

After a person with diabetes eats, the association says that the blood sugar level can be as high as 180. When you visit your doctor, he/she will probably conduct an A1C test that is able to provide readings of the blood sugar level for 8 – 12 weeks. This level should not go above 7.0. Those who have diabetes are encouraged to visit their doctors regularly to make sure that the test can be done to make sure that the correct levels are being met.

Any type of exercise will definitely help good blood sugar levels low consistently. The best way to do this is to exercise for about 10-15 minutes 3 times a day. This is ideal for people who are not able to exercise for 30-45 minutes straight. The goal of exercising is to maintain a healthy weight and to bring down A1C levels as well as blood sugar levels. For every 1% that a person with diabetes can lower these levels, their risk of having other health problems decreases about 40%. This is amazing and shows that exercise really is important.

Here’s a surefire fun way to exercise, even if you’re renowned as the laziest when it comes to getting that heart of yours racing a little. When preparing meals for the family or even yourself. Take a radio/cassette player into the kitchen and dance a little to your favourite music or radio station. Get those hips moving to the beat of the music; dance on the spot, side to side… even the odd bit of foot shuffling. Who says preparing food needs to be boring.

Those who have diabetes should never skip meals. After eating, the body will send signals to the pancreas to make more insulin and the liver will slow down which allows it to make sugar. If a diabetic does not eat, the pancreas and liver are not able to do these two processes. It is very important to eat small portions of food throughout the day so that insulin levels can stay balanced. If you choose not to eat, you will more than likely become very shaky, dizzy, nervous, light-headed, and talking might become very hard to do. This is known as hypoglycemia which is when the blood sugar levels are lower than they should be.

People who have diabetes should totally eliminate drinking alcohol, especially those who have type 2 diabetes. Medications that are given to those suffering from type 2 diabetes if mixed with alcohol can cause other conflicts within the body.

Taking diabetes seriously means watching what you eat, timing your meals throughout the day, and having a regular exercise routine for each day. Doing all of these is sure to help keep your body healthy and help you stay away from contracting other health problems.
I can’t believe I have finally found something that works. I have been looking for YEARS! I was diagnosed diabetic 26 years ago and 6months ago I started taking XB-fit. Well..suffice it to diabetes is under control, I have lost almost 40 pounds and I have more energy than I have had in over 15 years. I just have to share this. It is amazing.
